Ewen Maddock Pink Loop

Starting from the Ewen Maddock Dam car park (toilets available) off Connection Road, Landsborough, this walk explores the northern foreshore of Ewen Maddock Dam Reservoir and takes you to the Pink Loop Track. A superb 6km class 2 circuit that is great for families, you'll get to enjoy the bushland and spot some rare bird species that call this place home. Besides the birdlife, there are all sorts of animals here, from dragonflies to sunbathing goannas. The tracks are well-maintained, and some are bike/horse friendly as well. Ensure you come prepared with insect repellent to ward off mosquitoes and wear sturdy hiking boots for traversing wet conditions. Stay vigilant for snakes, particularly during warmer months. It's important to note that the reserve closes at 8PM. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the Ewen Maddock Dam car park off Connection Road(250 metres west of Hinterland BMX Track), head towards the reservoir along the paved track, passing through a bicycle barrier. Keep left as you get closer to the reservoir. About 90 metres in, turn right at the 3-way intersection and keep on Tallowwood Walk Track to continue along Ewen Maddock Pink Loop (clockwise).....

	From the T1 Start heading along T1 (a footpath). Find the car park at the start. Find the toilet at the start. After 25 m pass the playground (15 m on your right).
	At the intersection of Tallowwood Walk & T1 continue straight, to head along Tallowwood Walk. Then pass the sign (on your left). After another 10 m (from the Tallowwood Walk) continue straight, to head along Tallowwood Walk.
	After another 40 m (from the Tallowwood Walk) turn right, to head along Tallowwood Walk (a walking track). After another 8 m pass the BBQ (6 m on your right).
	After another 75 m (from the Tallowwood Walk) veer right, to head along Tallowwood Walk.
	After another 190 m (at the intersection of Tallowwood Walk & Main Track) veer left, to head along Tallowwood Walk.

	After another 205 m (at the intersection of Main Track & Tallowwood Walk) veer left, to head along Main Track.
