Oxer Lookout

Starting from Weano Day Use Area on Weano Road, Karijini, this walk takes you to Oxer Lookout and back, visiting Junction Pool Lookout. Both lookouts are considered to be a few of the most spectacular views in Western Australia. They provide visitors with views of deep cliffs that are a result of ancient erosive forces. Be cautious around the edges as the cliffs go down as much as 100 metres, and it can be dizzying for some. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Turn on to Karijini Drive then drive for 29.4 km Turn right onto Banjima Drive and drive for another 9.9 km Continue onto Banjima Road and drive for another 30.5 km Turn right onto Weano Road and drive for another 12.7 km Turn right onto Weano Road and drive for another 610 m

Getting started
From the end of Weano Road, head towards the wooden "Oxer Lookout Track" sign near the rocks/boulders along the dirt path. pass by the said sign (to your right) and head along the narrow dirt track, skirting the fence to your left. Follow the said track as it veers left to continue along the Oxer Lookout Track.....

	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This side trip takes you to the Junction Pool Lookout. To start this optional side trip turn sharp right here. On returning from this side trip turn sharp right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 75 m veer left.
	After another 70 m come to "Oxer Lookout". Turn around here and retrace the main route for 145 m to get back to the start.

This side trip takes you to the Junction Pool Lookout.
