Getting There Transport options and directions

Start	At the intersection of Mount Olive Trail, Glenworth Valley. (-33.3845773,151.1880185)

Directions	From Wisemans Ferry Road, Mangrove Mountain, head south-east along Ironbark Road; After 7.3km, come to the trackhead on Ironbark Road Mangrove Mountain.

	Start (from, Glenworth Valley) by heading south along Ironbark Road. You will also find a seat, picnic tableand a toilet here. There is a seat is at the start. There is a picnic table is at the start. Ironbark Rd Picnic area This picnic area is located at the end of Ironbark Rd, on the edge of Popran National Park. While this is not a special spot for a picnic, there are good facilities if you are doing a walk in the area. There is a picnic table, pit toilet (with a small rainwater tank for handwashing), information signs and track arrows at this point. Some of the tracks starting from this point are also horse trails. A section of Ironbark Rd may not be suitable for 2WD vehicles so you may have to walk the last section of road. There is a toilet is at the start. Then almost immediately, head around the gate.
	Then (at the 4-way intersection, with & Mount Olive Trail) continue straight, to follow the Mount Olive Trail.
	After another 300m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Mount Olive Trail & 248 Trail) bear right, to follow the 248 Trail.
	After another 350m, (at the 3-way intersection) take the left fork, to stay on the 248 Trail.
	After another 1.2km, (at the 3-way intersection, with 248 Trail & Hominy Creek Trail) continue straight, to follow the Hominy Creek Trail. After another 1.3km, cross the wooden bridge.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This side trip takes you to the Emerald Pool. To start this optional side trip turn sharp right here. When you have finished this side trip, head back to the main route and bear right to continue. Details below. After another 400m, (at the 3-way intersection, with Hominy Creek Trail & Hominy Creek Track) continue straight, to follow the Hominy Creek Track. Then almost immediately, cross Hominy Creek.
	After another 900m you will be at the turn-around point (to return to the start) at the intersection of Hominy Creek Trail & Mount Olive Trail, Glenworth Valley.

This side trip takes you to the Emerald Pool.

	After another 100m this sidetrip ends at Emerald Pool, Glenworth Valley. Then almost immediately, pass the Emerald Pool, a river (10m on your right). Emerald Pool Emerald Pool is a beautiful spot on Hominy Creek in Popran National Park. This deep pool has crystal clear water with an emerald/green tinge. There is a nice little cascade falling into the pool and it is a great spot for lunch while doing one of the walks in the area.

Emerald Pool

Emerald Pool is a beautiful spot on Hominy Creek in Popran National Park. This deep pool has crystal clear water with an emerald/green tinge. There is a nice little cascade falling into the pool and it is a great spot for lunch while doing one of the walks in the area.
