Getting started
From Gold Creek Reservoir Carpark(near Gold Creek Dam), head towards the signposted gate along the gravel path. Head over the little stile next to the gate. When you come to the fork, veer left and pass by the green directional signpost(to your right). Pass by the nursery to your right and turn left shortly after crossing Gold Creek to continue along Gold Creek Ridge Circuit(clockwise). This is the encouraged direction of travel.....

	At the intersection of Gold Creek Road & Gold Creek Boundary Break continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 110 m cross the bridge (about 15 m long)
	After another 10 m turn left. After another 60 m pass the picnic table (25 m on your left).
	After another 130 m turn left, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 100 m (at the intersection of Gold Creek Reservoir Walking Track & Gold Creek Boundary Break) continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break.
	After another 550 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 75 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 1.2 km continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 630 m (at the intersection of Layhys Break & Gold Creek Boundary Break) continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 335 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 1 km continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 1.2 km head through/around the gate.
	After another 730 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break.
	After another 295 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Break. After another 900 m (at the intersection of Gold Creek Boundary Track & Gold Creek Boundary Break) veer right, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Track. After another 25 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Track. After another 205 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Track. After another 6 m head through/around the gate. After another 1.7 km (at the intersection of Gold Creek Boundary Track & Creek Road) continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Boundary Track. After another 120 m (at the intersection of South Boundary Road & Gold Creek Boundary Track) continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road (a vehicle track). After another 2.5 km (at the intersection of Brown Scrub Road & South Boundary Road) continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road. After another 25 m (at the intersection of South Boundary Road & Black Soil Track) continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road.
	After another 1.7 km (at the intersection of South Boundary Road & Hell Hole Break) continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road. After another 1.2 km (at the intersection of South Boundary Road & Black Cockatoo Track) continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road. After another 65 m continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road.
	After another 630 m continue straight. After another 145 m continue straight, to head along South Boundary Road.
	After another 195 m (at the intersection of Gold Creek Road & South Boundary Road) turn right, to head along Gold Creek Road (a highway\|bridleway).
	After another 600 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Road.
	After another 750 m turn right.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. An optional little side trip taking you to a viewpoint at the foreshore of Gold Creek Reservoir. You can get a better view of the dam from here, and maybe enjoy a picnic by the water. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip continue straight when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 240 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Reservoir Walking Track. After another 55 m head up the 4 steps (about 4 m long) After another 110 m pass the sign (on your right).
	At the intersection of Gold Creek Boundary Break & Gold Creek Reservoir Walking Track turn left. After another 25 m pass the toilet (25 m on your right). Then cross the bridge (about 15 m long) After another 40 m continue straight, to head along Gold Creek Road.
	After another 80 m come to the end. A sign.

An optional little side trip taking you to a viewpoint at the foreshore of Gold Creek Reservoir. You can get a better view of the dam from here, and maybe enjoy a picnic by the water.

	After another 110 m turn sharp right, to head along Gold Creek Reservoir Walking Track. After another 20 m come to the viewpoint (10 m on your left).
	After another 45 m turn left.
	After another 25 m come to the end. A viewpoint. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 200 m to the main route.
