Fluted Cape Circuit

Starting from the car park off Adventure Bay Road, Adventure Bay, this walk takes you past Grass Point and Fluted Cape. Experience Bruny Island's unique environment on this scenic walk that takes in white sand beaches, clear waters, coastal cliffs and abundant wildlife. The trail follows the rocky coastline, passing through blue gums, white peppermints and she-oaks, with breathtaking coastal views from the dolerite clifftops. Southern Right Whales and Orcas can occasionally be spotted during migration months. The trail is well signed, with several information boards along the way. The clockwise option is harder at the beginning and easier towards the end. Some sections are steep, rocky and slippery, and it can be windy on top of the cliffs. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Turn on to Channel Highway, B68 then drive for 5.5 km At roundabout, take exit 2 onto Channel Highway, B68 and drive for another 12.7 km Turn left onto Ferry Road and drive for another 850 m At roundabout, take exit 1 and drive for another 33 km Turn left onto Adventure Bay Road, C630 and drive for another 9.9 km Keep left and drive for another 40 m

Getting started
From the Adventure Bay car park off Adventure Bay Road, Adventure Bay, follow the duckboard pathway onto the beach, then turn right and continue along the beach for about 300m towards the eucalypt forest at the far western end. Cross Dorloff Creek and head into the forest, then turn left onto Grass Point Track and continue the Fluted Cape Circuit.....

	Start heading along Grass Point Track. After 20 m pass the car park (5 m on your left). After another 135 m pass the "Bruny Island Cruises Restaurant" (80 m on your right). 	After another 15 m (at the intersection of Grass Point Track & Fluted Cape Track) continue straight, to head along Grass Point Track. After another 680 m pass the "information board" (8 m on your right). After another 540 m pass the "information board" (on your right). After another 1.5 km come to the viewpoint (45 m on your right). After another 15 m pass the "Fluted Cape" (10 m on your left).
	After another 2 km (at the intersection of Grass Point Track & Fluted Cape Track) turn left, to head along Grass Point Track.
	After another 380 m continue straight, to head along Grass Point Track.
	After another 390 m come to the end.
