Mount Carnarvon Walking Track

Starting at Echo Point car park this short return walk in Morton National Park takes you to Mount Carnarvon lookout with great views of the park. This s a great spot for birdwatching. When you return why not have a picnic at Echo Point picnic area. Let us begin by acknowledging the Gundungurra people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

	Start. Find the Echo Point Car Park at the start. Find the BBQ at the start.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Echo Point lookout with great views. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip turn left when you get back to this intersection. Details below. Continue straight. After 105 m pass the toilet (30 m on your left). After another 45 m pass the sign (on your left). After another 60 m pass the sign (on your left). After another 220 m come to "Mount Carnarvon". "Mount Carnarvon Lookout".
	Turn around here and retrace the main route for 440 m to get back to the start.

Side trip to Echo Point lookout with great views.
