Anembo Reserve Horse Arena Circuit

Starting from Duffys Forest, the Anembo Reserve Horse Arena Circuit is a circuit walk that takes you through a tranquil forest. You'll have a chance to see Rosenberg's monitors, red-crowned toadlets, eastern pygmy possums and more in Anembo Reserve. Speaking of, Anembo (Aboriginal) means 'quiet place'. You can be the judge of that whilst exploring this natural beauty on the edge of the suburbs, whether on a horse, a bike or on foot. As you make your way through the eucalypt trees, you may notice the scribbly patterns on the tree barks. These patterns are the work of the aptly named 'scribbly gum moth' larvae as they feed on the tree bark. Dogs are allowed (on a lead). Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the end of Anembo Road, head towards the green "Anembo Reserve" sign. Pass by the said sign (to your left) and head along the narrow track into the woodland. Follow the said track as it meanders deeper into the woodland to continue along Anembo Reserve Horse Arena Circuit (clockwise).....

	After another 125 m (from the Anembo Reserve Trail) veer left, to head along Anembo Reserve Trail. After another 155 m (from the Anembo Reserve Trail) continue straight, to head along Anembo Reserve Trail.
	After another 520 m (from the Anembo Reserve Trail) continue straight, to head along Anembo Reserve Trail. After another 205 m pass the water tap (10 m on your left).
	After another 10 m (from the Anembo Reserve Trail) turn right, to head along Anembo Reserve Trail. After another 50 m (from the Anembo Reserve Trail) turn sharp left.
	After another 170 m come to the end.
