Witches Falls Circuit from Colville Drive

Starting from the intersection of Witches Chase and Colville Drive, Tamborine Mountain, this circuit walk explores the dense witch-themed track in the lush rainforest, visiting Witches Falls and a picnic area along the way. As you travel along the beautiful family friendly track featuring a seasonal waterfall and lagoon, you’ll be accompanied by the constant birdsong. Be patient and keep an eye out and you’ll be able to see an Albert’s Lyrebird in no time. Along with birdlife, the area is home to koalas and multiple lizard species as well. The waterfall is best viewed after rainfall, but the track gets muddy as well. The experience and environment changes can be easily noticed if you come in different seasons. Finally, don’t forget to bring a snack and enjoy a lovely little picnic in the diverse rainforest. Keep an eye out for snakes. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the intersection of Witches Chase and Colville Drive, head along the dirt fire trail as you move in the same direction with the Witches Chase Road. Follow the said trail as it veers left and leads you deeper into the woodland. After passing by the lookout and crossing the bridge, turn left at the 3-way intersection to continue along Witches Falls Circuit from Colville Drive(clockwise). This direction of travel features an ascent via a gradual slope and a descent via steps.....

	At the intersection of Witches Close & Colville Drive Start (a vehicle track). After 1.3 km come to the "Witches Falls Lookout" (30 m on your right).
	Continue straight, to head along Witches Chase Track. After another 20 m cross the bridge (about 15 m long) Then pass the "Witches Falls" (15 m on your right).
	After another 135 m (at the intersection of Witches Falls Circuit & Witches Chase Track) turn left, to head along Witches Falls Circuit. After another 890 m pass the "Tamborine Mountain Cemetery" (10 m on your left). After another 330 m pass the BBQ (15 m on your left). Then pass the toilet (on your right).

After another 100 m pass the car park (15 m on your left). After another 10 m pass the sign (10 m on your left). After another 105 m continue straight, to head along Witches Falls Circuit.
