Lake Leschenaultia Loop

Starting from the car park near Lake Leschenaultia Beach off Rosedale Road, Chidlow, this walk takes you on a circuit around the perimeter of Lake Leschenaultia. Lake Leschenaultia is a man-made freshwater lake nestled in the scenic bushland of Perth Hills. Explore the loop around the lake, and keep a lookout for the numerous species of native birds, kangaroos, possums and echidnas that live in the area. The walking trail around the lake is a flat path suitable for prams and children. This walk is also pleasurable in the warmer months as it is heavily shaded. Those with extra energy can also explore the off-road bush cycling trails. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the carpark near Lake Leschenaultia Beach off Rosedale Road, Chidlow, head along the sealed path towards the picnic shelter near the lake's edge. Turn right at the picnic shelter and head along the walkway for about 300m, with a great view of the lake to your left. Follow the wide dirt trail ahead and continue the Lake Leschenaultia Loop(counterclockwise).....

	After another 175 m continue straight. After another 185 m pass the toilet (95 m on your right). After another 460 m continue straight.
	After another 180 m turn left. After another 95 m continue straight.
	After another 350 m turn left.
	After another 245 m veer left. After another 215 m continue straight.
	After another 50 m continue straight. Keep left.
	After another 165 m continue straight. After another 75 m continue straight.
	After another 285 m turn left. Keep left.
	After another 190 m continue straight. After another 135 m pass the toilet (15 m on your left). Then come to the "Lake Lechenaultia" (50 m on your right). After another 15 m find the "Reflections Café" (40 m on your right).
