Nandroya Falls Circuit

Starting from the car park at the end of Bunda Street, Wooroonooran, this walk takes you to the Nandroya Falls and loops back, visiting Silver Falls and Silver Creek Falls along the way. After exploring the dense rainforest that is filled with wildlife, you’ll be struck by how beautiful this waterfall is. Don’t be shy, dip in and enjoy the refreshing swim whilst listening to the meditative sound of water gushing down. On your way you’ll pass by other waterfalls which are all gorgeous in their own way, but the wide flow coupled with the spacious rock pool of the Nandroya Falls takes the cake. Expect to run into cassowaries, Ulysses butterflies and even the uncommon French’s longicorn(insect) throughout the journey. You can stay the night at the roadside Henrietta Camping are, where most amenities are provided. Keep an eye out for fireflies at night to have a magical experience. Keep in mind that this track involves a little bit of rock hopping, and the said rocks might be slippery when wet. There are lots of leeches and march flies, so cover yourself well and bring an insect repellent. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the car park at the end of Bunda Street(off Palmerston Highway), head towards the paved bridge with railings marked with a green hip-height signpost. After crossing the bridge, follow the track as it skirts the highway then veers right, taking you deeper into the woodland. Cross the Boolabah Creek, then veer right when you come to a fork to continue along Nandroya Falls Circuit(counterclockwise).....

	At the intersection of Nandroya Falls Walking Track & Bunda Street Start heading along Nandroya Falls Walking Track (a footpath). After another 20 m cross the bridge (about 3 m long) There is a toilet (about 85 m back from the start). This toilet is wheelchair accessible.
	After another 660 m (at the intersection of Nandroya Circuit & Nandroya Falls Walking Track) turn right, to head along Nandroya Circuit. After another 3.1 km pass the "Silver Creek Falls" (7 m on your right).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This is the last stretch to Nandroya Falls, where you\'ll find a scenic swimming hole udner a wide, beautiful waterfall. To start this optional side trip continue straight here. On returning from this side trip turn sharp left when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 295 m (at the intersection of Nandroya Falls Walking Track & Nandroya Circuit) turn sharp left, to head along Nandroya Falls Walking Track. After another 570 m pass the "Silver Falls" (5 m on your right).
	After another 880 m (at the intersection of Nandroya Falls Walking Track & Nandroya Circuit) continue straight, to head along Nandroya Falls Walking Track.
	After another 590 m come to the end.

This is the last stretch to Nandroya Falls, where you\'ll find a scenic swimming hole udner a wide, beautiful waterfall.

	After another 75 m come to the end. About 70 m past the end is "Nandroya Falls". Turn around and retrace your steps back the 85 m to the main route.
