TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these boots. The high rand should give them good protection from dolerite, and they should be a good boot for all seasons in Tas.
Secondly I can get a pair for US$209, delivered in the US for free. No international deliveries :( The problem being I have never used a freight forwarder, so can anyone give any advice on how to go about using one and any that they have used that they would recommend.
Thanks, Doogs :)

Im not familiar with scarpa pricing, is that good?.. i'm pretty sure there are places that will ship scarpa... I did notice 'another very popular model' for 170 the other day..
You could try shipito.com, ive used a couple and these guys seem ok. Likely to cost $60/70 offhand

Thanks Nuts, I knew I had read shipito.com somewhere before. As a comparison the Ladakhs are on sale at Paddy Palin for AU$467.47 reduced from AU$549.47. Is it any wonder most folk are buying their gear from overseas?
