Hi was in there for three days over the weekend. It was quite deep on Friday but by Sunday the snow was fast becoming water. I didn't bring snow shoes and I wouldn't of needed them anyway, so I doubt you will need them.

Also the track was clear ontop of Pelion Gap.
It is easier to go down a hill than up, but the view is much better at the top.

A Photo taken from the top of Mt Doris the low point is Pelion Gap (1100m). Looking over at Pelion East
