Overland Track 2010 Bookings Open Tonight

Bookings for the peak season open from midnight:

Bookings for the 2010/2011 walking season will be available from midnight AEST on the 1st of July 2010. The booking system will not accept bookings prior to this time. The booking system is available via this link https://bookings.overlandtrack.com.au

It's after midnight but not working yet, the calendar is missing:

I made the mistake of waiting as well. It's still down.

They sorted it out sometime this morning and I've made my booking. I'm a bit confused by it as I couldn't find the form controls for ordering fine weather. :lol:

Some departure dates have already been fully (or nearly) booked already.

I'm starting the walk on 16 December. I've planned for 7 nights on the track to allow for side trips. I'm excited! :D :D

That's a good time of year to go weather wise (well, as likely as good as any), and 8 days is a good time to enjoy the walk. Plenty of time to either take it easy, or do plenty of side trips. You should have a great time!
