My first thought was Rocky Cape somewhere, but that clue got me thinking it could be Marions Bay? Can't say I've been to Falls or that area though so could be way off...

Is it on the Snowy Range - maybe looking at Snowy North from ... somewhere further south, perhaps near Scrivens?

From the "track" up, probably. Possibly near the junction with the one up Bishop?

Both are pretty accurate guesses, but I'd probably say NNW is closer (& would probably take the chocolates), as it is pretty close to that junction.
Gorgeous country.

With the wind turbines and the coastal situation and what I think the rock type is I'll guess Cape Portland, though I've not been there.
