The standard bag in the link above is rated as being warm and providing a good nights sleep with light thermals at; Minus one for 'COMFORT' (often but not exclusively females) and minus six for 'LIMIT' (often but not exclusively males). This rating is for the standard 340 gms of down in the standard model above.
We however bought it with an extra 55 gms of down ('OVERFILL' IS stated on label in picture) over the stock model -so now it has 395 gms of 850 PLUS FP high quality GOOSE down in total.
Weight for the bag is 720 gms in TOTAL on my scale-this includes the extra down.
She has used it four times over two weekends and I used it twice. She'd like $695 -that includes postage.
It is very light (720 gms on my scale) and very lofty (can of beer in pics for reference) and it's basically in new condition. It has been stored loosely in the big blue bag (XS WM stuff-sack attached) in a nice airy and dry spot-smoke free and pet free home.
She used the Megalite at zero degrees (and was nicely warm and comfy) and twelve degrees overnight, on two different occasions and was very comfortable -the near full length zip makes it very adaptable. It also has an excellent zip baffle to keep cold out.
The overfill makes the down stay put adds some warmth and maintains it's loft more consistently-avoiding cold spots.
She slept in clean PJ type thermals in it and I slept in very light thermals for the couple of nights.
There is absolutely no smell, no marks, nothing. It is in immaculate condition. Looks new.
It also has the famous Western Mountaineering easy glide/no snag zip as well.
It packs small in a WM 'XS' sized stuff sack. We have the big storage bag for it as well-see picture.
It has both the makers tag -ladies named Maria Alvarez and Elvira made it, and the original 'company transport official license/tag' which the bag must be shipped with by law (which is normally removed by the customer) is still on it. I think she will be sad to see it go.
Also happy to take as many pics of any aspect you might want. I live in rural south west Victoria so if you are a rural person as well you are more than welcome to view it
