Magnificent photo.
I could have done with this lake on Schnells Ridge on the same day. As it was, we cooled off in the Anne river on the way down.

Many thanks for the comments folks. We ended up having two long swims in the lake after deciding not to continue on to The Spires. The temptation to immerse ourselves in the cool waters was too great. This photo was taken at the turnaround point, after a lengthy scrub bash up hill....
