Planing a hike up Long Spur

Postby Jesse » Wed 21 May, 2014 11:35 am

Hi guys,
I am planning an over night bushwalking trip to Long Spur in Alpine National Park. But I am not sure which way is best to get in there?
I know the Moroka River Track from Doolans Plains goes there (but part was washed out a while back so I'm not sure on the track quality) and I believe there is a closed track that goes across the top of Long Spur from Moroka Road but again I am not sure about the quality of it.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still trying to work out which Long Spur. I know at least three in the ANP, but can't think of one accessed from Moroka Road.
