It aims to let people with no knowledge of fungi help map the distribution of a hundred species that are recognizable visually. No matter where you are in Australia there will be some of the target species in your area. For example Amanita muscaria, which you photographed is a target species. All that Fungimap asks for is sight records ( not specimens) with some basic locality and habitat information.
