Just wondering where the best spots would be around Adelaide for night photography. I'm guessing deep in the heart of McLaren Vale or in the Hills for the least amount of light pollution.
Somewhere within an hours' drive of town?

Not sure if it's too late but I think from Mount Lofty Summit would give you some great shots of the city and also sky.

The Adelaide glow goes out a long way. So a deep valley in the hills might be the best bet.
But a workmate who does that sort of thing suggested the carpark on the hilltop between Tungkallilla and Palmer is a good spot

I took an astronomy class in uni and we had a field trip out to an observatory set up near two wells.
Pushing the boundaries of 1 hour, but it seemed pretty clear there
