Information about walking tracks
Notes describing individual bushwalking tracks in Australia. These notes are drawn from the Bushwalk Australia forums and from the experience of forum members. Articles may be a contribution by a single author, or notes combined from several authors. These are only notes from walkers, based on their believes, records and/or memories. These notes may help your research for a walk, but when you walk in any area you do so at your own risk. You should do thorough research and not rely on any one source of information.
There's a bit of difference between a Trip Report or description of a Place to Visit and Track Notes.
- Trip Reports and Places to Visit - focus on what walkers can do/did do and what there is to see on the walk.
- Track Notes - are strictly reference material explaining how to get to a track, how to follow the track and what sort of track conditions and variations to expect along the track. These may be accompanied by maps when available.
Please remember: No warranty is given or implied that these notes are accurate reliable or fit for any purpose.
