Freycinet Peninsula Circuit

Starting from the Wineglass Bay Car park on Malunna Road, Freycinet, this walk takes you on an expansive circuit along the Freycinet Peninsula. The circuit takes in many of the peninsulas pristine beaches, waterfalls and Aboriginal sites. The optional climb to the top of Mount Freycinet (620m) can also challenge walkers. The trail is well-formed and covers various terrains, making it a fantastic introductory option for walkers new to multiday hiking. Drinking water availability on this circuit is scarce, and you need to be prepared to carry sufficient water. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

	After another 30 m continue straight, to head along Wineglass Lookout Track.
	After another 40 m (at the intersection of Wineglass Lookout Track & Mount Amos Track) continue straight, to head along Wineglass Lookout Track. After another 55 m pass the toilet (25 m on your right). Then pass the water tap (40 m on your right).
	After another 255 m (at the intersection of Wineglass Bay Lookout Track & Hazards Beach Track) turn right, to head along Hazards Beach Track.
	After another 680 m continue straight, to head along Hazards Beach Track.
	After another 5.4 km (at the intersection of Peninsula Track & Hazards Beach Track) continue straight, to head along Peninsula Track.
	After another 2.3 km continue straight, to head along Peninsula Track.
	After another 3.9 km (at the intersection of Cooks Beach Path & Peninsula Track) turn left, to head along Peninsula Track.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Optional side trip to the summit of Mount Freycinet To start this optional side trip turn left here. On returning from this side trip turn around when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 5.1 km (at the intersection of Peninsula Track & Mount Freycinet Track) continue straight, to head along Peninsula Track.
	After another 790 m continue straight, to head along Peninsula Track. After another 15 m come to the "Mount Graham" (50 m on your left). After another 5.2 km pass the toilet (15 m on your right). After another 15 m come to the "Wineglass Bay Overnight Walker Campsite" (10 m on your right). Campsite managed byTasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service. This is a free campsite.
	After another 1.8 km (at the intersection of Wineglass Bay Track & Peninsula Track) veer right, to head along Wineglass Bay Track.
	After another 1.4 km (at the intersection of Wineglass Bay Lookout Track & Wineglass Bay Track) continue straight, to head along Wineglass Bay Lookout Track.
	After another 250 m (Boulderfield Junction) veer right, to head along Wineglass Bay Lookout Track (Return). After another 240 m pass the "Waterfall Lounge" (35 m on your right).
	After another 640 m (at the intersection of Mount Amos Track & Wineglass Bay Lookout Track (Return)) veer right, to head along Mount Amos Track.
	After another 60 m (at the intersection of Wineglass Lookout Track & Mount Amos Track) continue straight, to head along Wineglass Lookout Track.
	After another 40 m continue straight, to head along Wineglass Lookout Track.
	After another 5 m come to the end.

Optional side trip to the summit of Mount Freycinet
