Trachyte Circuit Mini

Starting from the car park off Barrs Road, Glass House Mountains, this walk pivots around Mount Tibrogargan via the Trachyte Circuit, visiting multiple viewpoints along the way. Enjoy the views of Tunbubudla, Ngungun, Beerburrum and Cooee mountains as you make your way through the forest via the undulating track. Plenty of benches for you to catch your breath or do some birdwatching. You can even spot a Wedge-tailed Eagle if you’re lucky. The circuit may also work as a trail run if you’re looking to put some cardio in. Don’t forget to bring an insect repellent in warmer months if you don’t want to be sucked dry by the ‘mozzies’(australian slang for mosquitos). Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the car park off Barrs Road(510 metres south of Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge), head towards the trailhead signpost with a roof on it along the gravel path. Pass by the said signpost to your left, then turn left and head towards the green “Trachyte Circuit” directional signpost. Join the dirt trail following the signage, then pass by another green signpost(dogs not allowed etc.) to your left. After about 260 metres(from the green signposts) and passing the Tunbubudla Viewpoint, turn left at the intersection to continue along Trachyte Circuit Mini(clockwise).....

	Turn left, to head along Trachyte Circuit. After another 120 m come to the "Mountain View Lookout". At the intersection of Trachyte Circuit & Tibrogargan Summit Trail continue straight, to head along Trachyte Circuit. After another 85 m come to the "Ngungun View". After another 60 m cross the bridge (about 10 m long) After another 390 m cross the bridge (about 9 m long) After another 195 m come to the "Cooee View". After another 540 m cross the bridge (about 10 m long) After another 120 m cross the bridge (about 15 m long)
	After another 420 m turn right, to head along Trachyte Circuit. After another 190 m come to the "Beerburrum View".
	After another 620 m veer left, to head along Trachyte Circuit.
	After another 265 m come to the end.
