Point Lookout Gorge Circuit

Starting from Mooloomba Road, Point Lookout, this walk takes you on a circuit on the headland of Point Lookout via the Gorge Walk track, visiting multiple lookouts along the way. Prepare to be overwhelmed by the views and wildlife on this walk. From groups of kangaroos around the track to dolphins and sea turtles in the ocean, you’ll have a lot to look out for. Manta rays and sharks may show themselves as well. If you’re here around September by any chance, you may even see the colossal humpback whales migrating. If lucky, you’ll even witness one go up in the air and splash tremendous amounts of water when it comes down. The track is well maintained and secured by railings, making it family friendly. Besides the ample wildlife, the stunning coastal views and the vast ocean is enough to make the trip worthwhile. After the leisurely walk, cool off at the panoramic beach nearby to magnify the experience. Keep in mind that the track is quite exposed, so sunscreen and a hat is recommended. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From Mooloomba Road(across No:19 Oceanic Gelati and Coffee Bar), head towards the sheltered informative signpost, moving directly away from the road. Pass by the said signpost to your left and head along the railed track gently uphill. Shortly after, veer right at the T intersection to continue along the Point Lookout Gorge Circuit(clockwise).....

	Start heading along North Gorge Walk. Blue Room (about 125 m back from the start). Mo-Fr 7:30-15:00 Find the sign at the start. Find the water tap at the start.
	After another 15 m turn right, to head along North Gorge Walk. After another 260 m come to the viewpoint (10 m on your left). After another 110 m come to the viewpoint (10 m on your left).
	After another 420 m continue straight, to head along North Gorge Walk. After another 20 m come to the viewpoint (55 m on your left). After another 105 m come to the viewpoint (7 m on your left). After another 295 m pass the toilet (40 m on your left). This toilet is male and female. After another 10 m pass the water tap (15 m on your left). After another 7 m pass the playground (15 m on your left). After another 110 m pass the pay phone (on your right). Then come to a seat., has a backrest.
