Giant’s Cave and Kookaburra Rock Lookout

Starting from the car park at the end of Morialta Falls Road, Woodforde, this walk takes you past Giant's Cave and the Kookaburra Rock Lookout via the First Falls Valley Walk. The trail to Giant's Cave is a well-maintained gravel track, with many stone steps leading up to the cave. From the cave, walkers have the option of descending the stairs and following a narrow and rocky path to the Kookaburra Rock Lookout, where there are spectacular views over the gorge. There is clear signage throughout, and the park has BBQ and picnic facilities, public toilets and a children's playground. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
Starting from the end of Morialta Falls Road, head towards the roofed area with informative signposts and seats along the wide dirt path, moving directly away from the road. Pass by the bridge with green metal railings to your left and three consecutive wooden banks to your right as you follow the trail. Veer slightly right as you pass by the third bank and follow the dirt trail to continue along Giant’s Cave and Kookaburra Rock Lookout Walk.....

	At the intersection of First Falls Valley Walk & Morialta Falls Road Start heading along First Falls Valley Walk (a vehicle track). There is a toilet (about 50 m back from the start).
	After another 85 m continue straight, to head along First Falls Valley Walk.
	After another 310 m turn right. After another 35 m head up the steps (about 35 m long) Then pass the "Giant's Cave" (7 m on your left).
	After another 235 m turn sharp left.
	(Kookaburra Rock Lookout) Continue another 265 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 900 m to get back to the start. "Kookaburra Rock Lookout".
