Broken Falls Lookout

Starting from the car park at the end of Wartook Road, Zumsteins, this return walk takes you to Broken Falls and back. This walk is a short one in a serene and silent area, which makes it perfect for short getaways. It is situated in the sweeping vistas of the upper sections of MacKenzie Falls. You can visit the area for a perfect sunset behind Broken Falls and a little getaway that will be effortless, easy. You can do a bit more climbing to get a better field of view, but there are no fences, which may require additional care. There are also not a lot of visitors if you want to have a more tranquil experience. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the car park off Wartook Road (approximately 400 metres southeast of the intersection with Mount Victory Road), walk towards the dark green “Mackenzie Falls” and “Broken Falls” sign. Continue along the reddish paved road as you approach the white hut on the left-hand side. Head along the said track after you pass the white hut to reach Broken Falls.....

	Start. There is a shelter (about 105 m back from the start). McKenzie Falls Car Park (about 30 m back from the start).
	After another 55 m veer left, to head along Mackenzie River Walk.
	After another 45 m (at the intersection of Mackenzie Falls Lookout Walk & Mackenzie River Walk) veer left, to head along Mackenzie River Walk. After another 35 m pass the toilet (50 m on your right). This toilet is wheelchair accessible.
	After another 9 m veer left. After another 35 m continue straight.
	After another 100 m come to "Broken Falls Lookout". About 85 m past the end is "Broken Falls". Turn around here and retrace the main route for 255 m to get back to the start.
