Getting started
From the northwestern corner of Apsley Falls rest area (off Apsley Gorge Road), head along the narrow walking track as you follow the Gorge Rim Circuit - Lions Lookout signage. Stay on the said track and pass by Lions Lookout to your right to continue along Apsley Gorge Rim Walking Track (counterclockwise).....

	Start. Find the sign at the start. After 360 m pass the car park (80 m on your left). Then come to the "Lions Lookout" (20 m on your right).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Lions Lookout with great views. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. Continue straight. After another 15 m pass the car park (25 m on your left).
	After another 25 m continue straight. After another 315 m head down the 9 asphalt steps (about 15 m long) After another 10 m come to the "Landslide Lookout" (on your right). Then pass a seat (195 m on your right)., has a backrest. Then come to the "Slate Walls Lookout" (195 m on your right).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Landslide Lookout with views. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. Turn left.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Lower Pool Lookout with great views of the Lower Pool and the area. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 55 m continue straight.
	After another 35 m continue straight. After another 85 m pass the car park (on your left). Then pass the "Lower Apsley Falls" (105 m on your right).
	Turn left.
	After another 15 m continue straight. After another 30 m come to the "Apsley Gorge Lookout" (55 m on your right).
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to Apsley Gorge Lookout and The McMillan Lookout. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. Veer left. After another 6 m pass a seat (20 m on your right)., has a backrest. After another 30 m pass the "Apsley Falls" (110 m on your right).
	After another 275 m continue straight. After another 185 m pass the car park (on your left). Then pass the sign (20 m on your right).
	Turn right. After another 10 m to find the car park. After another 20 m pass the car park (30 m on your left). Then pass the BBQ (25 m on your right).
	Continue straight. After another 115 m pass the toilet (35 m on your right).
	Continue straight.
	After another 180 m turn left.
	After another 155 m continue straight.
	After another 4 m turn around.
	After another 4 m come to the end.

Side trip to Lions Lookout with great views.

	Continue another 0 m to find Lions Lookout at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 20 m to the main route.

Side trip to Landslide Lookout with views.

	Start. Then come to "Landslide Lookout". About 195 m past the end is a seat., has a backrest.
	Continue another 0 m to find Landslide Lookout at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 3 m to the main route.

Side trip to Lower Pool Lookout with great views of the Lower Pool and the area.

	Start. Then head down the 6 asphalt steps (about 10 m long) Then come to "Lower Pool Lookout". About 140 m past the end is "Lower Apsley Falls". About 195 m past the end is a seat., has a backrest.
	Continue another 0 m to find Lower Pool Lookout at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 15 m to the main route.

Side trip to Apsley Gorge Lookout and The McMillan Lookout.

	After another 8 m turn left. After another 15 m pass a seat (on your left)., has a backrest. Then come to the "The McMillan Lookout" (6 m on your right). Then pass the "Apsley Falls" (110 m on your right).
	Turn right. Then head down the 36 surface\|wood steps (about 9 m long) Then head down the 41 surface\|wood steps (about 15 m long) Then pass the "Lower Apsley Falls" (115 m on your right). Then head down the 31 surface\|wood steps (about 9 m long) Then come to "Apsley Gorge Lookout".
	Continue another 0 m to find Apsley Gorge Lookout at the end. Turn around and retrace your steps back the 65 m to the main route.
