This walk starts at Dawsons Spring picnic area and leads to the summit of Mount Kaputar for stunning views over the Mount Kaputar National Park. Let us begin by acknowledging the Kamilaroi people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From the end of Dawsons Spring Road, head along Dawsons Spring Nature Trail as you move directly away from the cabins. After about 360 metres, veer/turn right at the fork and follow Kaputar Summit Trail to continue along Mount Kaputar Summit from Dawsons Spring Track.....

	After another 130 m veer right.

	After another 65 m turn left. After another 15 m pass the car park (9 m on your right).
	Continue another 70 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 1.4 km to get back to the start. "Mount Kaputar". "Mount Kaputar".
