TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I had a pair of folding siccors in my 1st aid kit years ago. Lost them somehow and haven't seen anything like them in years, then saw something like them in a Spotlight sewing kit. They were light weight and packed very small, not stainless, the blade is not very long, not safety ends etc. The ones I had were certainly much lighter than anything I have seen in a 1st aid kit and well capable of the job though, for big jobs maybe a littler slower about it.

Regards,
Ken
