Here's a link to my Picasa album of a recent walk though the Overland Track. First major trip with my new Canon 550D (with the lovely 15-85mm lens)

Great shots! I'm really looking forward to my walk that starts in 14 days!
What was the mix of weather for your trip? How many nights were you on the track?

Hi flatfoot - thanks for the comment. We were out there for the "standard" 6 days/5 nights. Weather was fine till Windermere; cloudy, showery - even a little snowy - till Kia Ora; then mostly fine again for the rest of the trip. The waterfalls were pumping (although not as much as during our winter trip in from Lk St Clair), and the weather didn't stop us doing anything. It even cleared enough for us to have a lovely time getting up Pelion East. I've described some of it here in words

Nice work Peter, looks like you had a great trip. Still a nice amount of water coming over the falls by the looks of it!
