Overland Track Closed due to Bushfire

Overland Track closed and bushwalkers told to evacuate as fire started by dry lightning gets within 5km

Walkers from Windermere and Waterfall Valley told to return to Cradle Valley
Walkers at Pelion and South of Pelion are okay to continue South.

Walkers will be refunded by Parks.

That is really poor journalism. The poor people put out because of the pesky fire.
So typical of mainstream media.

Not one single *&%$#! given about the irreplaceable flora and/or fauna
