I believe you. As opposed to my solitary visit to Legges Tor many years ago via the Big Opening. If I don't get it next please jump in, I'm out doing remote bushcare all day tomorrow.

Then I'm going to assume (rightly or wrongly) that you're looking at Wilmot Bluff in the middle distance, so might be on Asgard Crag?

This was the view looking the opposite direction. I should have said I could see Heimdall crag in the far distance.

John:
It's not Ben Lomond. The southern Ben Lomond plateau is much scrubbier than this ground, albeit still mostly easy walking.
The shot is from Mt Parmeener, looking to Western Bluff - which is the bit of the Tiers that the local indigenous people called Parmeener.

Yes it is Mount Parmeener over to you.

Thanks, I was only slightly off-cue. At least I managed the correct half of the island

Not as popular as I thought, apparently. Maybe pick a quadrant of Tassie and go from there. You'll be in royal good company, if you pick the right one. Don't be rattled. You might even want to take your time on a visit, and book accommodation the old way.

That's the one, thanks Last. Vicky & Albert. Pop along the Rattler Range while you're there, and you can always stay in Ringarooma.

Definitely worth popping in. Vicky is worth a revisit anyway, I reckon. We left no bump unclimbed, just in case they change their minds again. I'm glad they can't move the summit of Dome Hill.

That's because I can't identify that plateau down there. I should know it, but it just doesn't click. It's a distinctive shape that should show up on the maps, but ...

Unless that's a cryptic clue, it doesn't help us much.

Not Gould, but in the right park
