I remember trying to shelter there in very similar weather, but wind was blowing rain underneath the overhang.

Next, one from the archives. Where was I about 6 years ago?

You're in the correct national park, but it's not Apsley Gorge.

It sure is. Somehow missed the route down to the base, so I have to be content with only seeing it from the top.

Well, Bonds Craig, Reeds Peak and Great Dome from that side and that angle suggests somewhere in the Mt Field NP. Not Lord or Lanes - vegetation is wrong. Maybe from near The Watcher?

I've tried getting that same shot from near there but never had a decent result. Needs a lot of zoom and a steady hand.
