That is the summit cairn on Snowy South (well, I have a big picture of it on the wall, so ...). Looking West to the Anne Range.

Thanks Graham. I was reasonably sure, but on my only trip to Projection I didn't walk that far across it.

Yes teak, in extremely blustery conditions. The wind actually face planted me into the ground immediately I arrived on that little plateau.
There is some sort of weird weather phenomenon that happens up there.

Yes, a short little toddle from the track if you do it the easy way, although I may have done a bit of wandering around before and after. Good little tent site as well, except for the firepit.
