I have no idea, so I'll throw out a vague guess assuming that your last post was a cryptic clue...
Somewhere in the Walls of Jerusalem?

...Yes it was. Not in the Walls but you're in the right part of the state.
Probably about 30 km from here to Mt Jerusalem.

I don't understand the clue either but it reminds me of the Meander Falls area

The last clue covers Rats Castle and all along the Great Western Tiers from Projection Bluff to Western Bluff.

And the track to Meander Falls starts at Huntsman's Hideaway, so I reckon you're right.

I think you are right
- it might be the northern end of Bastion Bluff on the LHS probably from the Dell Track.
But the 2 named features has thrown me.

Firstly, Tortoise gets a point for correctly guessing Huntsman's Hideaway. I took this photo back around 2005 or 2006 so a bit hazy on the details and haven't revisited the spot since. I'm on or just off the Split Rock/Cleft Rock track, possibly near the small loop to the two waterfalls but could be further up. I will give it to eggs as the Dell track is pretty close and want to keep the game moving. I believe we are looking at Bastion Bluff. I thought the lump on the left may be Meander Crag but may be wrong so happy to be corrected. Over to eggs.

All a bit inexact - so anyone can go next.
I did not look back when going down the Split Rock track, but my shot of the wall at the saddle of Meander Crag and Bastion Bluff does not match the forested slopes on your RHS.
Bastion Bluff there was very cliffy.

Even though I had no input I’ll jump in. What mountain did we climb last week before the weather changed?

Ar first glance the foreground rocks look like Weld but background looks more like the Reserve. In fact that looks like the Acropolis with Geryon and the DuCane highpoint beyond, so I'm thinking you're most likely on Gould?

Correct on every count, NNW.

Thank you.
Hope this one goes off reasonably quickly, because I''m out most of the weekend.

Hounslow Heath Track?
Fri 28 Oct, 2022 2:12 pm
Good enough. I think this may have been just above it, on the way to Brewery Knob, but can't be entirely sure because the weather did what weather is wont to do and clagged in a bit up around then.
Take it away, teak.

Thank you, where was I in this photo?

North West corner of Western Bluff?
Fri 28 Oct, 2022 3:03 pm
Yes on the track up from Urks Loop. Over to you.

Next then

- On Mt Roland

I think you'd have to be somewhere on the Roland massif, looking over Gog to Quamby, Projection and Drys. Given the angle I'd think closer to Van Dyke than Roland itself.
Fri 28 Oct, 2022 9:52 pm
No - this was from the top of Roland - but you can have it anyway

What makes you think I want it?

Marion Creek looking at Mount Gould?
Sun 30 Oct, 2022 3:41 pm
This is a far more frequently visited spot. I actually thought this one would go really quickly.

A very evocative photograph. Is it the Liffey River if you walk downstream a shortish distance from the falls?

Brought back memories of fish jumping out of Dove River in the early evening.

There is a reason for that, although no fish were sighted on this day.

Lovely photo NNW.
Although - before I looked closely to recognise the Little Horn, my first thought was this place..

- Anne River from the swing bridge on the Lake Judd track
And the first time I saw this in 1983 it was from a position which was a little unsteady.

After this one, no-one can ever again complain to me about lack of clues in the photo itself.
Mon 31 Oct, 2022 10:41 am
Just a stab in the wilderness.....
Is that the Anne River at the Lake Judd campsite ?
Mon 31 Oct, 2022 2:00 pm
Yes. Anne River but from the swing bridge. It was a 3 cable bridge when I first crossed it.
