It's fairly similar to my pic from Slatters so i wouldn't have thought it was from far north as KW1, Milligan or Pitt (but I can't find a pic to prove it), maybe Battle ridge?

I've found a few spots where they're better, but they're harder work to get to. Have to spend a night up on Jukes to; it looks amazing.

Hmm - curious that there are no answers yet?
That's NNW looking back at Jukes from the location in my photo from Jukes.
But when I was on that quartzite we only had glimpses through the clouds.

Yes, the reverse shot did seem to stymie everyone else.
I've been lucky with my two visits to the Frenchman - clear on top both times, even if it was a bit breezy.
