It's a hole in the ground, I'm guessing from sone older Hydro work, but otherwise, no idea.

I remember it as being full of crap up to a few metres from the top. Have they restored it? Haven't been there for 30 years.

This was the first time I visited this place, so I don't know how it used to be 30 years ago. You'll have to say where you have in mind.

It's in southeast Tasmania. While it was a walk of sorts, it's probably more of a tourist attraction.

Yeah that's it. Well, it's signposted as the 'air shaft', and is a few km north of the main historic site, but still the same complex.
