Yes, Devils Throne it is. We sat there and watched eagles glide past half a dozen times. Amazing.

It is in a NP but not Mt Field - and it is seen by lots of people :)

Based on that clue it's likely at Cradle. I'm guessing either Lake Lilla or Wombat Pool. Leaning towards Lake Lilla.
If I can find my shots of them it might help.

Looks more like Wombat Pool to me, but confirmation would also require digging out photos and I'm trying to pack, so ...

The clue evaded me also. And I still can't find my photos of either Lake Lilla or Wombat Pool:
