Hi
Is anyone interested in modifying a down jacket (ripped on sleeves) into a vest??? and booties???
I have a super old Wilderness down jacket (made in NZ, fabric says Reflex) which has ripped in 3 places on the sleeves so I was keen to try and recycle it into a vest. I wondered if the down from the sleeves could either be added as fill to the vest or if not be turned into down booties?
Any offers? quotes? of labour & material?
Thanks

I imagine you could simply stitch around the arm scye and just cut the sleeves off.

That could be stitched by hand
Cecile could do it but first check out Remote Repairs to see what they would charge.
Depending on the construction it might cost $40- or it could cost $more
PM me for my email and send pix and we might be able to advise you on DIY
