Hi Pete,
They look good, if you want to try and start making a few more complex pieces, I have a few things I wouldn't mind getting made out of waterproof 15D ripstop.
1. A rain cover for my Tilly Hat.
2. A type of poncho, no hood but with a collar, a gusset at the front of the neck that can be left open for air to escape and a snap to close the gusset if need be. I only want to to go down to my hip so it pairs nicely with my rain kilt. And only reaches my elbows.
3. Poncho sleeves. Something with an elastized snap around my upper arm that goes down to my finger tips.
I'm got a full on Goretex jacket which works great for Winter but I find rain jackets too sweaty most of the time. A lot of the UL jackets simply aren't rain-proof or don't come in my size 3XL so a system like the one above would be awesome.
If your interested, PM me and we can discuss the details.
