Recent West Australian visit

Tue 26 Jan, 2010 10:13 am

I have recently returned from WA. After attending the national OE Conference at Freemantle I spent a week with my brother visiting a number of locations in the southwest. I only touched the surface of what is available but here is a few pictures of some of the place we visited.

This reminds me of a popular outdoor equipment manufacturer's logo - can you guess which one?

A good walk, but would not recommend it in the height of summer!

Ahhhhh memories, thanks for sharing Robbo,
The SW has some magic coastline
Did you go to the top of Bluff Knoll? A great walk in winter, as you say pretty taxing in summer months, at least for soft East Coasters
Will upload a video of a trip up The Knoll soon if I can dig it out.
Did you check out the Karri and Tingle forests while in the SW?
It's a pretty BIG place, hard to see many places on a short stay.
I'm going back soon but will be 500km North of there(just a bit Nth of Perth), looking forward to a good swim.
Cheers, sbs
