Camping on the Cobbler Plateau

Sat 28 Dec, 2013 9:50 am

As you know I recently did a walk up to Mt Cobbler. Though it can be done as a day walk, we did it as an overnight trip and camped on a plateau with good campsites around the junction of Cobbler Lake and Speculation Tracks. We chose a campsite about 100m up the Mt Cobbler track. It was a good campsite, with a good view of Mt Cobbler peaks, but there is no water. We carried all water for drinking and cooking. More information about the trip will be soon available.

Condensation was noticed on the Moondance, but it was not a problem. Can't tell more about it because the tent has not been through rough weather condition.
