Thanks doogs. It's a nice area up there. A pleasant change to be able to walk cross-country with excellent visibility and no scrubby impediments! To my surprise we had a couple of people turn up and camp at Youl on the first night. They went off in the direction of Stacks the next morning and we didn't see them again.

I don't really think there are established sites are there?
The first night at Lk Youl was just down on the southern end of the lake where the "beach" and "dunes" are. The second night at Lk Baker I nestled the tent against some rocks on the (approx) WNW side of the lake, in a little grassy area between then scoparia. It provided excellent wind protection from the west wind.
