These are a few photos of a trip I did to Federation Peak in 2001. The weather was unbelievable(over 30 every day) and we were on the summit at 6.30 in the evening on day 2. Truly magic stuff. I was especially happy to get up as i had made 3 previous attempts but had been 'washed' out each time on the Berchevaise plateau or the Eastern Arthurs.

Always liked the idea of doing it...
That steep bit sure looks daunting. I guess it's one of those things you come across and decide either you can or you can't... I reckon I could but it sure looks steep, and as you know, a long way to go for bad weather!
