In mid November/ early December I managed to make my way across the ditch to hike in stunning Fiord land. We managed to do Kepler and Routeburn/Caples tracks. We got stunning weather which made them all the more wonderful.

you're totally tinny mate. as a shuttle driver down there said to me, if you have good weather on one of the walks, you won't get it on another.....
plenty of people go there and get up close and personal with the inside of clouds the entire time...

Brilliant pics!
I wanted to walk Routeburn this Easter but hubby can't take that much time off, and i didn't think it was a good idea to go solo
So we're going local, Snowies instead
I'm very envious

there will be plenty of people around at easter, huts take up to 50. its only 30k, and four huts for the distance there are lots of people on the track, plus numerous day walkers.. good quality track.

To be honest, it would probably be more enjoyable doing them by yourself as you don't have to worry about your buddy etc. The tracks are easily marked, heaps of people. But if in bad weather you still should be fine
