The Bluff, Alpine National Park

After seeing it in the distance so often on so many ski trips to Mt Buller, I finally hiked over The Bluff back in May 2010. I recently managed to paste some of the photos into a slideshow, added some music and loaded the thing onto YouTube.

The original plan was to hike from Eight Mile Flat, up Eight Mile Spur and across to camp at Bluff Hut (13km), returning down Sixteen Mile and along the Howqua the next day (16km). Unfortunately energy levels were low and so we shortened the hike and started from Bluff Carpark, camped at Bluff Hut and hiked back along Bluff Link Rd the next day.
