Cradle Area in Snow

Cradle Area in Snow

Hi all,

I did a walk around the Cradle Mt/Dove Lake area from 30 Aug - 2 Sep this year. The original intention was to walk the overland track, but even with snowshoes there was too much snow to do this. Instead I stayed at Cradle and did a number of day walks in and around the area. Here are a few of the pictures from these walks:

I stopped at the Scout hut for lunch in the (relative) shelter of the deck.

The Dove lake circuit was a much longer walk than it is usually!!
