Gday all I have just returned from 4 days up in the Walls, there were so many people on the last day out but we didn't see too many before then which was nice.
I counted the number of people than had signed in after us and there were 52!! 24 of which we saw coming down.
Anyway here are a couple of the photos I got, a few of the other once can be seen here as well

Nice pics! I have been to the Walls quite a few times and tried to get some nice sunset photos - and it is hard (compared to other places in Tassie). You had some nice conditions and took advantage of them.
I once stayed up on Mt Jerusalem till sunset - but it was nothing special
For sunrise - i have tried getting up early and climbing the Temple and the West Wall (Halls Buttress) - i think the temple is the best place - but really have had only one rally nice sunrise (lots of mist etc)
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Love to see it - a fantastic neck of the woods...

I was thinking of the Sunrise at the Walls on this trip -
http://david-noble.angelcities.com/Tas03a/tas03a.htmlThat was the one with the mist. This one - not much of a sunrise but nice frosted boulders and ice patterns -
http://www.david-noble.net/Tasmania/TasApr05Pt2.htmlBut it is always a nice place to wander around.

It is becoming a highway into the walls! Last time I was there I counted 27 on the way out.
Nice pictures Michael. Number two would be my pick of the bunch.

Thanks everyone,
Dave some of those mist ones are great, the walls does seem to be fairly hard to get decent photos of sunsets and particularly sunrises but I did get very lucky with the conditions and an otherwise ordinary composition turned out ok, I agree that the temple is probably the best spot, all the sunset photos were taken from a rock outcrop part way up the temple.
