Side trip via the Cobberas

Postby ianhopkins » Wed 10 Nov, 2021 8:28 am

What is the consensus on taking a detour via the Cobberas if the weather is decent?

Will be starting my trip next week and am trying to decide if this side trip would be worth it.

Thanks!

It's longer and harder than the track, but more than worth it.

Off track, so I'll PM with some info.

Cleft Peak is absolutely worth making the trip out to via Cob 1. The whole plateau is stunning and truly a highlight of the area.
