Early model Peak Aspiration, and bonus bits.
This pack has had the top pocket removed by the previous owner. This is part of a deceased estate and has been in storage for about 4 years, and therefore I have little information.
Offers?

Selling or giving away?
Not sure it's worth that much if you won't be able to buy a new hipbelt for it

Well its not giving it away if I have to pay for postage :)
Given it is a reputable brand pack I felt it was worth listing, even given it state.

Otherwise it's off to the bin for it.

Cheers,
Wazza.

I think most people would be more than willing to pay for postage, unfortunately I would be murderated if I got another pack
Pockets are worth maybe $30 to $40-

Size?

There look to be 2 - 'Small' ( 34? to 42 cm) or 'Medium' (38 to 48 cm)...

Hi wazza, always interesting to look at how the Aarn design has evolved - the pack looks like it would take most Aarn waistbelts (one of which I have as a spare).

What is the weight of the pack? and the top?

Is there a liner inside the pack?

Hi Bernieq,
Firstly to clarify the first photo is of a single random pocket the came with the gear, its is much older than the pack.
The original lid was in the pack but no liner.
Best guess on the weight is 1250g.

Wazza.

I have balance pockets for sale in Marketplace (selling full system, may consider separating to complement this purchase)

Hi Warin,
Sorry I missed you question.
So to clarify what I have,
1st photo is an older balance pocket, Expedition size. Only one shown but I did find the other one last night packed away with some stoves.

Then the photos front and rear of the pack.

The last is a pair of latter built Compact balance pockets.

Cheers,
Wazza

Thanks, wazza, but I'll pass on this one. 1250g (plus harness & liner) will make it no lighter than my current NB Aarn pack so no advantage for me on shorter trips.

Just for completeness, back length of the pack is approximately 63cm
