These gaiters are an unwanted gift (which don't fit me- I possibly would need a M) and might have been used for a couple of days by a friend of mine but always on a track. They ended up in her pack but whether she put them on or not I'll never know! They look completely unused.
I doubt they have encountered any prickly bits!
